Equine Boarding

 

Nestled in a Century - old bank style barn.  Wicksteed offers 50 acres of completely fenced land for you and your horse or pony to enjoy. A fun family environment. Residents have their own stall and receive daily turn out, hand walked if in extra time due to extreme weather condition's.( overnight - weather permitting), small groups or individual negotiated with board agreement.  Board rail fencing with electric.  Excellent paddocks and 3 large grazing pastures Spring to Fall. Groomed trails for year round enjoyment.

17 Comfortable and bright, large box stalls well bedded with plump White Cedar wood shavings, cleaned daily. Clear isles with 4 Rubber mated grooming stations. Individual tack areas.

Experienced care and individual feeding tailored to your horse's needs.

Outdoor grass ring approx. 20m x 50m

Outdoor sand arena approx. 24m x 55m.

Our quality care and turn out has been evident at the local shows and club events.

Routine worming , farrier and vet.

  1. Boarders are welcome to use their own insured instructor, vet and farrier.
  2. 24 hour care, seven days a week.
  3. We don't mind handling your horse for regular vet and farrier work (so you don't have to miss work).**
  4. We are happy to blanket during winter months as well as flysheets and masks during the summer.
  5. Boarders receive special discounts at on-site tack shop.
  6. Experience with mares and foaling.
  7. We will always accommodate a horse with extra or special needs.
  8. Grooming and routine (support) provided to show boarders.**
